How to Use the Sentinel HD55S WiFi Dehumidifier

To ensure optimal performance of your Sentinel HD55S Dehumidifier, follow these guidelines:

• Place the unit on a stable, dry surface, avoiding areas with excessive moisture, such as wet basements.
• Refer to the user manual for proper setup instructions.
• Adjust the humidity level using the arrow keys, setting it anywhere between 36% and 95% based on your needs.
• When turning off the unit, allow the fan to continue running until it stops automatically to release residual heat.
• The dehumidifier self-drains during operation. If storing the unit, allow a 10-minute defrosting period, then tilt it slightly to ensure complete drainage.

Remote Control via the Mobile App

Easily manage your dehumidifier from anywhere using the app by following these steps:

1. Register and log in to your account.
2. Select your AlorAir device and navigate to the Wi-Fi mode page.
3. Reset the device by pressing the "UP" and "DOWN" keys simultaneously for 3–5 seconds until you hear a beep. The Wi-Fi icon will begin flashing.
4. Tap the "Switch" button and select BK-AlorAir-C Bluetooth to connect.
   • Note: Only select BK-AlorAir in the app; it will not appear in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
5. Enter your home Wi-Fi password to complete the connection.
6. Wait for the app to scan and connect to your device.
7. Setup complete! Your device is now successfully paired.

Important Connectivity Tips

For the best performance, place your Wi-Fi router near the dehumidifier or use a router with stronger signal coverage to maintain a stable connection.

Storage Instructions

When storing the unit, follow these steps to keep it in optimal condition:

• Turn off the dehumidifier and ensure it is completely dry.
• Securely wrap and store the power cord.
• Cover the filter mesh to protect it from dust and debris.
• Store the unit in a clean, dry location.
